Snowflake Medallion Quilt

My customer Christabel has made the following Snowflake Medallion Quilt which I recently had the pleasure of quilting.  Snowflake Medallion is a design by Emma and Pam Jansen which involves both piecing and applique - I am sure you will agree that Christabel has done a fabulous job.

I had lots of fun quilting this quilt and incorporated lots of feathers and loops.

I do particularly love the centre of this quilt and have surrounded the centre applique design with a wreath of feathers and filled with my favourite background fill - pebbles.

And who doesn't love a back which is almost as beautiful as the front.

Thank you Christabel for trusting me with this incredible quilt - I had a wonderful time quilting it and am thrilled with the results.

  9. What a beautiful collaboration! I love the way that pieced units and applique are combined seamlessly in this quilt, even within the same border, and Christabel's craftsmanship is superb. Your quilting complements the quilt top perfectly and I especially love your pebble texture and quilted feather wreath surrounding the center medallion.
